5 Month Update

Aubrey is 5 months old. Last month was one of the craziest by far! Our family has had many changes in the past month and Aubrey has been a trooper through the whole thing.
1. We decided that since my milk was dwindling and Aubrey was not gaining weight that it was time to start formula. I breastfeed her as long as I could until our move to California when we switched her completely to formula. (as you can see from the pictures, she is doing very well, and growing so much!) It took a wile to find a formula that worked with her, since she was dairy and soy free. Now she is on an organic dairy and soy free formula that is made mostly from brown rice, and not corn like all of the other nasty allergy free formulas.
2. Chris graduated and we had to pack up our house and move to California. That was rough!! But we made it and are feeling at home in California.
3. We took a trip to Salt Lake City with Chris's parents, then went to Park City with my parents. She was staying in 4 new places in the span of 6 days.
4. Chris started his new job at Business Financial Solutions.

Aubrey Update:
Height and Weight: Aubrey now weighs 14 lbs and I am not sure how tall she is. She has gained 3.5 lbs in one month!! She is not in the 1th percentile anymore!

Personality: She is a social butterfly. She loves to talk to and be around people. She needs to have attention all the time. If she is not getting attention she will cough to get someone to pay attention to her. She is super fun and has a sweet personality.

Likes: Laughing and smiling, going on adventures (errands with mom). Seeing daddy come home after work. Dancing. Bath time. Drinking her bottles, and eating solid foods. She loves bananas, sweet potatoes, and applesauce. She love trying to "feed" herself. She always has to have her hand on the spoon when she is eating. She loves rolling, jumping in her jumperoo, and playing with her toys. She loves being outside and in the beautiful California weather.

Dislikes: She doesn't have very many. She does not like it when the sun gets in her eye, or when there is strong wind. She also doesn't like it when no one is paying attention to her.

Sleeping: She is still sleeping well. She puts herself to sleep for bedtime and naps. She is teething right now so she is waking up a lot at night needing to be soothed back to sleep or having her pacifier put back in. She now takes all of her naps in her crib!! She fights sleep anywhere else though, which is hard :(

Milestones: Rolling from back to belly. She rolls all over the place now, but only to the left haha. Also, eating solid foods.

I am so proud of Aubrey and how much she has grown. She is such a beautiful baby and is loving living in California. She is a California girl now! I want to thank all of or family and friends that have supported us in our move and travels to this new and exciting adventure in our lives.
